JAKBOPEE J&K MBBS/ BDS Admission through NEET UG 2017, Cut-Off, 15% Quota, Reservation of Seats

Jammu & Kashmir candidate are not eligible for 15% All India (National Level Counselling) because J&K Board has opted out for NEET-UG 2017 National LevelCounselling. The candidate belongs to J&K can only choose their own state MBBS/ BDS colleges. The state Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Jammu & Kashmir has opted out of 15% quota seat reservation for Merit Based top 15% candidate in NEET-UG 2017.

All other states/ UTs have fully opted for NEET 2017 and will fill 100% of seats on the basis of NEET 2017 score card & All India Ranks.

As per the new bills passed & Supreme Court ruling, No medical college or state government is allowed to conduct a separate UG medical entrance for admission to Government or Private Medical Colleges in the country except for Institutes established by the act of Parliament that is AIIMS and JIPMER.

Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JAKBOPEE) conducted JKCET 2017 for admission in BE, BUMS, BAMS and BPT (Medical & Engineering) courses. The candidate passed in senior secondary (12th/10+2 class) or an equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with at least English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as his/her subjects and obtained at 10+2 level not less than 50% marks in case of open merit candidate and not less than 40% marks in case of ST, SC and OBC candidates can fillup the NEET 2017 forms. The percentile is the minimum marks required by the candidate to qualify in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Exam 2017. Counselling MBBS/ BDS Admission 2017

  1. The Merit list is prepared by Central Board using Scorecard of NEET UG Entrance Test 2017.
  2. The counseling will be conducted basing upon the Rank obtained in NEET-2017
  3. In case of same rank being obtained by more than one candidate, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology in the qualifying examination shall be reckoned. In
  4. In case of a further tie, the older candidate shall be given the higher place in the merit list.

NEET UG 2017 Important Dates

NEET UG 2017: Exam date is over on 7 May 2017, now candidate can download unofficial answer key to check total marks obtained. On 8 June 2017, Result of NEET-UG 2017 shall be declared on www.cbseneet.nic.in website.

Counselling J&K MBBS/ BDS 2017

The student can check Jammu University & Kashmir University website regularly after the NEET 2017 result is declared. The 100% seats in J&K are reserved for Jammu & Kashmir domicle candidates.
