Hon’ble Supreme Court has sent notice to Medical Council of India (MCI) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the Tamil Nadu State MBBS/ BDS admission plea. Some student has reached SC Apex Court and are asking that admission in UG Medical and Dental courses for the Tamil Nadu state should be based on Higher Secondary percentage.
National Eligibility Entrance Exam is conducted for admission in MBBS/ BDS course in India. All the Medical and Dental University (Govt/ Private) runs under the MCI and DCI has to accept NEET 2017 score card for the admission.
From 3 July 2017, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is going to start 15% All India Seat Quota counselling. Andhra Pradesh state is also participating in 15% All India Counselling.

State Wise Ranks/ Merit
CBSE has already announced NEET 2017 result on 23 June. The candidate must have checked ALL INDIA RANK (AIR)/ Category Rank/ Percentile and Subject wise marks. But for the 85% Quota State Rank and merit list is prepared by the State Medical Counselling Authority. The admission in MBBS/ BDS in Govt/ Private college is based on the State Wise Merit List.
How to Know State NEET 2017 Merit
CBSE has issued a notice that State Rank cum Merit list is going to be announced by the State Medical University/ Counselling Authority. The candidate has to visit the official website and check latest news and updates section. CBSE is not to announce State RANK or MERIT LIST. You have to check state wise counselling Committee website.
