Medical (WBJEEM) was conducted in 2016 for admission in UG Medical, Dental courses. In year 2017, Hon’ble Supreme Court has said that there shall be single Medical Entrance Exam (NEET-UG) for admission in MBBS, BDS course. So, this year WBJEEM 2017 was not conducted. The counselling in WB is based on the NEET 2017 score and merit list. West Bengal NEET UG 2017 Form
The CBSE/ MCI/ NBE (National Board of Examination) is going to conduct National Eligibility Entrance Test Undergraduate (UG)-2017 for admission in MBBS/ BDS academic year 2017-2018. The students pass/ appearing with Biology subject (plsease check eligibility) can fill-up online AIPMT 2017 application form. The candidate interested to fill NEET-2017 form must check NEETCBSE.nic.in or www.aipmt2017nic.in website.
List of Documents
The WB NEET 2017 State 85% seat quota counselling is online so, no documents will be required for participating in online allotment process.
However the candidates who are allotted medical/dental colleges through the online allotment process are required to verify the following original documents at the verification centre at R G Kar Medical College on the stipulated days as mentioned in the counselling schedule as published in www.wbhealth.gov.in and www.wbmcc.nic.in :
- Allotment letter, Admit and Rank card of NEET-UG 2017
- Domicile certificate
- Medical Certificate
- SC/ST/OBC A or OBC B/PH certificate (if applicable)
- Age proof (birth certificate/class 10 admit card or certificate)
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Duly filled up verification form
- Reporting centre copy of e-challan form showing the bank transaction ID as mentioned in the website (or proof of online transaction)
- Anyone ID proof of any of the parent/candidate (EPIC,/Passport/Aadhar card) The domicile certificate form, medical certificate form and the verification certificate form can be downloaded from the website www.wbhealth.gov.in or www.wbmcc.nic.in
Below is the revised qualification/ education/ age for NEET 2017 UG entrance exam. The eligibility is common for all states. So you have to read brochure of NEET-UG 2017.
(a) The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.
(b) For SC, ST and OBC Candidate: The marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology taken in qualifying examination and competitive examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology) be 40% marks instead of 50% for General Candidates. The PWD persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for Gen-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
