New Delhi: Hon’ble Supreme Court has rejected the decision of Allahabad High Court for awarding bonus 5 marks to the candidates who have opted one question which was wrong (with no answer). On 10th August 2017, Allahabad High Court made a decision that 5 marks bonus has to be awarded to the candidates for the wrong answer and asked CBSE to revise Merit List based on the new total marks. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi went to Supreme Court against the Allahabad Court decision. On 25 August 2017, the Supreme Court has said that High Court should not hear plea for NEET-UG 2017 and rejected the HC Allahabad Decision of 5 marks bonus.
CBSE NEET-UG medical and dental entrance exam was held on 7 May 2017. This is the single (MBBS/ BDS) entrance exam conducted by CBSE all over India. The candidate willing to get admission in UG Medical and Dental course has to appear in NEET entrance examination.
SC Rejected 5 marks Bonus
This year, NEET question paper was asked in 8 lanugages (Hindi, English, Odia, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Assamme, Punjabi, Gujarati). In NEET 2018, Kannada and Urdu language is also included.
